Karnataka govt has decided to fill up 2,454 vacant posts

The state government has decided to fill up 2,454 vacant posts in the police department.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah gave this information at a media conference after attending the ‘Annual Conference of IPS Senior Officers’ organized at the police headquarters on Nripatunga Road in the city on Friday.

It has been decided to depute an additional 230 personnel to strengthen the CCB. The government has decided to give ₹3 crore for the renovation of the 148-year-old commissioner’s office building, ₹60 crore for starting the pre-unit of the city armed reserve force, and ₹100 crore for purchasing police vehicles in the state.

11 new stations in Bangalore: 5 new traffic stations (Chikkabanavara North, Gnanabharati, J.P. Nagar, Seshadripur and Sanjaynagar) and 6 women’s stations (North, Central, West, North East, South East and Whitefield) have been approved in Bangalore.
