Having traveled on foot 3,000 kilometers to Makkah to complete the Haj, Shihab Chottur was finally granted a visa by the Pakistani government.
On June 2, Shihab Chottur, a grocery owner from Athavanad in Kerala’s Malappuram district, began his wonderful 8,600-kilometer walkathon. He travels at least 25 kilometers each day on foot.
After traveling through India, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, and Kuwait, he will ultimately arrive in Saudi Arabia in 2023 to perform the Haj in Makkah.
